Victor Rudenno holds a Bachelor of Mining Engineering, a Master of Commerce and a Doctor of Philosophy. During his academic career from 1978, he lectured both at the University of New South Wales and part time at the University of Sydney.

In 1984 he moved to the stock broking industry where he became a rated mining and energy analyst and was voted by his peers as one of the Top Three energy analysts in Australia in the BRW 1994 Analyst Survey. In 1995 he moved into investment banking and worked for a number of leading firms as a corporate advisor and was involved in numerous capital raisings, IPOs, corporate valuations and divestments.

In 2000 Victor co-founded Equity Capital Markets Ltd that specialised in corporate advice and capital raisings and was subsequently acquired by Tolhurst Ltd, an ASX listed stockbroker. During this time he held the position of Executive Director and was a responsible manager and key person for appropriate Australian Financial Services Licences. He is now the principal of Revaluate Pty Limited a resources valuation and corporate advisory firm.

Victor has continued in his role as an advisor to listed and private mining companies on resource valuation, financial modelling, restructuring and capital raisings. He has previously and currently advises government and semi government agencies on resource valuations and has acted as an expert witness on mining and ASX matters. He has also been the principal author of a number of Independent Experts Reports including the $SOOm takeover of Climax by Oceana and the $1 bn takeover of Resource Pacific by Xstrata and has undertaken valuation reports for a number of major resource companies. Victor also provides short courses in mining and valuation and publishes company research reports.

He is the non-executive Chairman of ASX and NYSE MKT listed Samson Oil & Gas and a former non-executive director of ASX listed Pilbara Minerals. He is also the principal lecturer for mining investment analysis at Kaplan/Finsia and author of the international textbook 'The Mining Valuation Handbook".
